A special report in the Irish Examiner highlighted the day-to-day work that takes place with young people in Oberstown in order to address offending behaviour and prepare them for returning to their communities. The Irish Examiner article, which ran over two pages, outlines CEHOP and goes through the programmes and initiatives available to young people in Oberstown. Participation of young people was also highlighted as an important way of engaging with young people, and a young person told his own story in his own words. Oberstown’s new barista training partnership with Java Republic was also reported on in the Irish Examiner and on RTE’s DriveTime radio show.
